ya i know about the other drivers being my danger… thats y the sport bikes are so appealing to me (besides them being sleek and sexy). sport bikes have the best acceleration, braking and monuvering capabilities, their for their the safest bike because they can get u out of a situation better then any bike. but they can also get u into a situation the fastest!

the ninja series is actually the slower stock speed in the sportbikes class. i was going to stay with a stock look, then get the bike lowered, new exhaust, some led’s, neon lights… but that would of course come later!

I dont want to sound patronising at all bud, because that is’nt my intention. This is coming from expirience too and I’m sure by the sound of it Sherav with his tread scar, but at the end of the day it does’nt really matter what bike you have; the ‘thing’ that needs to be the best and the sharpest on the roads when your on a bike, any bike, is you, the rider. But just because there are so many crazy, careless, reckless, thoughtless etc, etc, other road users out there. As my old man taught me, I like to treat every car is if they are out to kill me.

That is a sweet choice of ride though my friend and they look bad ass fightered. You can really chuck 600’s around too.

I think your tattoo is going to look awesome too mate.

    Scott.

don’t be worried about your advice. it’s good advice, and i know but i’ve heard it too much (im a thick headed teen after all). i’m lucky i’ve developed the 6th sense already and i’m actually reall cautious on the road. i already see every car as a potential herse! i know the dangers of the road and i’m still willing to get a motorcycle. but i want a sport bike because its soo fast and so well at monuvering it is the safest bike as long as u don’t abuse the speed!

thanks for the help with the tat too

Good man, you sound like you’ve got your head screwed on! I’ve met plenty of well, kids who’ve not learnt what you’ve just said untill after they’ve had their first off!

I was walking past the Triumph garage earlier actually, was eyeballing more than a few machines; but the more and more I look at the Speedtriple the more and more I want one!

I dont know if you’ve said already, but what is your off road bike? I only ask because the first time you get on a 600 you shit yourself! Then after a few weeks, you want more speed! My old man tells me it’s the same for him on his 1400 now, not sure you can get what he’s got in the states actually, it’s a SuzukiGSX1400; awesome machine.

Anyway, I’ve gone right off topic. This is kinda’ on subject, but your tread tattoo idea reminded me of something. I’ve got this skull and rose design on my right forearm, all bold blocks of colour and quite unusually; anyway, I got the design turned into a patch and it’s now sewn onto the back of one of my leathers! Looks sweet. Just like the tread cap/shirt, it makes a really nice companion to the tattoo.

i actually just sold my last dirtbike, had to leave the sport cause highschoo has gotten in the way of ridding it. but it was a 250cc 2stroke the same amount of power as a 450cc 4stroke or a 450cc road bike. but ya u always do want more speed. and that Triumph speed triple is a awsome bike. i actually pulled my dad in the shop 3weeks ago and i never left the side of that bike for 5min. the sales men and i were pushing my dad to let me get one, but he knew my mom would kill me!

ya i noticed the subject was getting a little off topic, but what ever it’s a good talk

I can really sympathize with your mother. My father is an ER physician. The worst cases and most common are motorcycle accidents. In most scenarios, the person driving the motorcycle is killed. I couldn’t stand it if someone dear to me died that way.

The tire tread you picked is somewhat plain. Are you going to have the artist add imperfections or what?

I really like the idea though. I myself am also into speed. However, I’m into cars. I’m working on modifying my car now. I’ve picked out all the parts I want to put on her but I gotta get the cash flow and I’m broke! As a joke.

on the contrary i can’t stand speed. i’m all about the acceleration. the only difference between 30, 60 and 90mph is the blur. but when u can pick up 0-60 times in under 3 seconds. or your pulling like 4g’s in acceleration and 4g’s in braking what a rush!

ya i know how dangerous motorcycles are and that they usually die in a wreck. but i can’t stand sitting in a cage!

no i want to re-design a better looking tread. know i’m thinking i might go like car racing tread on one side and like a off road tread on the other!
but i don’t know, im still working on a design
but it definetly won’t look plain as the one on the shirt or hat but similar

I love to play with other drivers. Usually my launch is pretty good and my car is turbo powered so it really gives you a kick to the ass.

However, if I see a motorcyclist I’m very protective of them and respectful.

Gnarly idea with the two different types of treads. Keep the designs coming until something sticks with you that you could live with forever.
