    Hi all,
    I need help i got a small tatoo on my arm years ago and i hated it. I went to Amsterdam a few weeks ago and got it covered.It was kinda on an impulse and was convinced he’d do a great job but made it so much worse regret it now.I was looking for a good design site who could look at pic’s of it and help come up with something good. I would be very greatfull if anyone knows where i could try.

    Hi Rob

    First of all welcome to the forum.

    This is a great place to get design ideas and suggestions and there are some very experienced artists who I am sure will help out.

    Just need a few things

    A picture of the tattoo.
    What your tastes are in style – black/shade, colour, fantasy, serious etc.
    What you dislike.

    Also do not dive into a cover-up with tribal unless that is what you really want. Take some time out look through the designs/tats on this site.

    Once I have the info above will be in a better position to advise or help.

    Thanks for the reply.
    Im working on getting a photo of it just need a hand to take it. Kinda embaressed to show anyone i really hate it. i was told it was going to be black with some shading with nice lines. You’ll laugh when you see it. The lines are very wide so i cant imagine i’d have to many options. Could you tell me how to send you a few photos?

    You have some options here. Let me start with what I tell people about covers. Covers take talent. Research artists and find one that has EXTENSIVE cover experience. Artists that do alot of covers know how to design something around what you have right now and what types of designs you like.

    Sherav is awesome too…he might have some ideas that you can use as a jump off point.

    BTW…this is why I am TOTALLY against getting inked on a whim…

    Hi Rob

    You can use photobucket or image shack to do direct to the post (there is something in the FAQ’s on how to do it).

    Alternatively you can place in your album for viewing. I have also PM’d you my personal email if you want to send me the pic by email.

    As Peachie has stated there are always options so do not be embarrassed or worried in my tattoo research I have seen hundreds and I mean hundreds of tattoos some of them were really really bad but to me in these cases, it is all about getting things corrected not what has been done.
