I originally had an appointment march 26., but the tattooartist (biomech) is on sick-leave, so I won’t get any major work done until april, when Chuso (chestpiece) comes back to Norway for another visit.
Freaking waitinglists. If only we’d have a drop-in tattooshop =/

I do agree though, I am normally not a fan of chest pieces either but this one is cool and the added shading was a good choice.
The arm tattoo turned out very nice as well. Is that the tattooist’s signature there?

As much as I like the zombie pinup (you seem to have lots of talented tattooist folks up there!) , Mr. Darwin is just epic. May I ask what gave you the idea apart from the name and location of the studio?

I’m a darwinist, and I had been planning to get a portrait of Charles Darwin for some time. I first wanted to get the tattoo from the most prominent artist here in Bergen (Thomas Whitewall Brudvik), but things changed and suddenly me and my mum were going to visit my sister in Darwin. It’s actually just a lot of coincidences that led to the fact that it’s made in Darwin, at Darwin Tattoo Studios, 200 yeas after he was born and 150 years since The Origin of Species was published. hah.
Got my right arm tattoed again about a week ago. Not the best pictures, but you get the idea.

Still got a lot of coloring to be done + we’re going to do loads of little pieces in between both of the designs, and then some more.
