I had my third session yesterday and we almost finished, but not quite. It’s going to take one more session, but here is the result of another 5 hours in the shop. I’m up to a total of about 15 hours.
I’ll get some better pictures when it starts to heal.
We also talked about the idea of adding some more fill around the Koi. There is too much empty space around the front of my arm, under the dragon’s claw.
Fantastic!!!!
Im getting my 2nd session on my dragon done on Thursday.
Looking very awesome 🙂
Man, that looks awesome. How long was your session with the dragon? Love it, you got a great artist there.
Thanks guys! The color session on the dragon was about 4 1/2 hours.
I’m starting to peel, but wanted to get a better picture of the face. I can’t believe I have to wait over a month to get it completely finished.
I’m finally finished for now, but I will definitely be adding to this piece in the future.
There was some time left at the end of the session and I had him add some detail on the Koi, under the water.
wow the colors of the koi are insane man! congrats!
I’m not huge on koi and Asian dragons, but this is one sick piece of artwork!
Thanks guys. I thought this thread was long dead and forgotten.
I’m still loving my tat as much as the day I got it and plan on adding to it soon. I spoke with my artist recently and we may add an underwater koi to the inside of my arm.
Wow the whole thing turned out incredible.
Here’s a newer shot a few months after it was fully healed.
It looks amazing man. congrats on the first peice. Its good to see that it stayed bright
