Hi! So I got my first tattoo last Saturday. It is smaller than a quarter and I chose to get Saniderm since I’m new at this. The artist I went to did an amazing job and told me to take off the first piece after 24 hours and leave the second on for 3 days(if course cleaning and letting it air dry in between). So that’s what I did, and I just took the second piece off a couple hours ago. I noticed that the line work is raised and feels a little bumpy. I’m using aquaphor to keep it moist and I’m just wondering if it’s normal to be raised or if a should be worried. Could 3 days have been to short a time to leave the Saniderm on? And is there anything else I should do besides cleaning and lotion to make sure that it continues to heal well?
