Hi guys, I’m a 19 yo girl wanting to become a tattoo artist, in my city there aren’t good artists they are not informed and do very bad tattoos so I’m afraid they won’t be good guides, and searching online I came to the conclusion that I should buy at least two different machines, one for line and full blacks or colors and another for soft and shades. But I was thinking can’t I just buy one better machine of the first type (line and color) and for shades just

1- make my colors thinner by mixing them with fluid

2- and also by doing less voltage

3- and doing faster strokes?

I don’t have touched a tattoo machine yet but isn’t these three ways logic to make up for one less machine? Thank you. I will wait for your help and sorry for my bad english.
