desensitized to any violence & shock or spookyness…society cant be shocked or terrorized by any horror any more surely? society and people today have become to hardened…so hardened bruce willis face doesnt compare..so what shock and excitment will a horror film have anymore……..there not like they used to be anyway, when you used to have that childlike fear towards horror flicks back in the day, thats what gave them their power having that childlike fear…plus back then they had original ideas and concepts…the simple original scare.
what do you say about it?

all the stuff on tv used to scare the bejesus out of me, even worzel gummidge and his ever changing heads!

the next generation aint got a clue: my lad watches stuff like hostage, saw, and pitch black and he picks them to bits, and as for hammer house of horror or tales of the unexpected? that isnt even worth the celluloid it was taped on, apparently. he even belittles freddie!

    quie frankly im embarrassed.

p.s. i used to get really edgey at lemon popsicle and porky’s, but now you see that kind of stuff on easties!!
