Am I just old fashioned but what is the whole thing about rap and hip hop I don’t understand it.. I don’t like it.. and it feels like nails on the chalkboard when I hear it but yet everyone listens to it. I am 29 year old male and I can’t get enough of the country music and classic rock and new rock. I more or less lean to Country tho more than anything. It keeps me calm and it puts me in a good mood when I hear it. I am just in a really crappy mood whenever I hear rap or hip hop. I guess I am asking why do people listen to it? something like “I can buy your drink” and its in a gay voice. Then some of it just sounds like just noise a bunch of noise that I cant understand. I am not a hater or a racist I just want to understand the music what is the big deal with it? Oh and “Pop my trunk pop my trunk” LIke that is the stupidest song I ever heard.
No I really don’t want to listen to rap I just want to know why am I hearing it at work all day long and why is it so annoying to me. I just want to hear some Amarrillo by morning by George Strait or some Redneck woman by Gretchen Wilson oh man, or hear some Sanitarium by Mettallica every once in a while does anyone feel me on that one? I don’t want to hear “buy your drink” everyfreaking day of the week at work I mean come on!!!
