    the song plays in itunes, when i transer it to ipod mini by dragging it, there is an exclamation mark(!) before the song name. i have itunes v7.3.1 n ipod mini(4GB, 1stgen) v1.4. pls help .

    The data is corrupted and you need to download it from apple. Apple only supports certain music files.
