    molesters and strangers? Does anyone know the name of this disturbing film shown to Canadian kids in grade school in the 60’s about child molesters and strangers?
    It was shown to us annually in Canada in the late 1960’s into the 1970’s I think. It portrayed a man offering children candy and then grabbing two girls, putting them in a van and then killing them, a shot of a shoe floating down a stream? It was supposed to warn you of going off with strangers. Does anyone know the name of this film or who made it or any information at all would be appreciated! even if you just remember it tell me about it. thanks

    As soon as I read the question, I remembered one I’d seen. However, it’s not the one you describe so I won’t subject you to it. Anyway, I found it at http://www.archive.org, an archive of vintage public education films (that is, streaming videos not just a list). That might help.

    I remember one about manners that had a puppet in it named Mr. Bungle. He told us how bad it was to eat our dessert before dinner and stuff like that. Maybe the kids today need to see this movie!
