I’d love to know which is the most user friendly and which is the most professional and why. Also, is it better to use it on a pc/desktop/laptop or an apple mac, and what specifications are needed (eg memory etc)? Do you think someone with no experience of the technical workings of music software and hardware can pick it up relatively quickly?
Garageband comes already downloaded on an Apple Mac. It’s really really easy to use and you can record your own music to a pretty high standard with just a little practice. I tried a couple of PC music software programmes before I got my Mac but gave up as they were too complicated. I have recorded a couple of CDs this way.
Garageband rocks!
ableton 6 or reason 3.0..ableton more easy to use and prob best orgram out there.
If you have no experience of the technical workings of music, why on earth do you want to purchase the most expensive and professional software? Why not try something easy until you get the hang of things. That’s why schools are graded. You start at the bottom and work your way towards the top. Try Band-In-A Box http://www.pgmusic.com. There’s a 30 day free trial available. At least is will get you started.
