How come I never see any black folks at rock concerts?

I’m going to see Korn on Tues (in NY) and I’ll probably be the only over 30 black female there. : (
Why? Don’t you like rock/metal too?

I know one black guy who likes rock. He’s about the only one I know.

edit: I forgot the lead singer of Sevendust is black.

And also, who said they invented rock n roll? I’m not all that sure about that. I have to check….

I am actually a brown guy. I f***ing love metal. i go to every gig that comes by. mmmm yeo i haven’t seen much black or brown people at any of the concerts.

no offence to any ‘black folks’ out there
but whenever i think of hip hop or rap, i think of those people.

and not many black folks ARE in rock bands
de’mar (from the plain white t’s) is the only black man i know that plays in a rock band
[hes an amazing drummer]

thers always some black people there, you just have to look around alittle harder beacuse of all the crazy drunk white people running everywhere. Hope the concert goes well, Korn’s an amazing band.

I’m black and I’ve seen other black folks at rock concerts. But there should be more since we f*ckin’ INVENTED rock n’ roll. I’m sick of all these ignorant blacks that think it’s white music. You should know your own history.
