    i have a film on my pc which i would like to put onto dvd but the film itself is 2 and a half hours long and a shop has told me the largest discs i can get are 2 hours (4.7gb) is there any way i can do it as the film cannot be editted to be cut down

    easy

    just change the quality of recording, you can usually get twice as long on a disc if you do that, check you dvd recording manual.

    use the program-convert x todvd this allows you to get more than 2hours on a dvd i get 2 normal length (90mins)on each dvd.
