    British citizens? After what has happened in the UK in the past few years, you would think that they would not want these non British citizens anywhere near the UK…. after all 7 previously released prisoners that were released went on to do more terrorists acts.

    I think this is one way Mr. Brown intends to establish that he is not a lackey of the US (implying that Mr. Blair was).
