Hello everyone,

I would love to hear your ideas on my current tattoo ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I had a tattoo of a butterfly which I got done a very long time ago. Last year I decided that I wanted to do something more with this as I wasn’t really happy with it anymore. So I wanted to add some text, paws and an extra butterfly, all in memory of the dogs that have been/are in my life (a paw for each dog, a butterfly for those who have gone away from life, but all will always walk with me).

But… I got away from the original idea I had and just had some paws tattoed on my foot.

Now I’m kind of regretting not sticking to the original idea, as I feel something is missing and are now still 2 seperate tattoos. But ofcourse it’s too late to go back to my original idea as the paws are there!

Does anyone have any ideas how to make it nice and together? I think a whole silhouette over my butterfly is a bit too much, but I would like to make it look nicer and add another butterfly. The text in somewhere would be nice too. Just as long as it all comes together again and the meaning behind it is back. Black and white please.

Hope someone here has some ideas as in my head it just keeps going round and round!

Thanks,
Jessica

Have the butterfly reworked add some flowers and some vines and please go see a competent tattooist.

Thanks for your reply! These were done from just me bringing on or picking a picture and putting that on my foot. Now I have to say that the guy from my last tattoo wasn’t helpfull in thinking with me and what I wanted, he was very stuck on what he liked and couldn’t see much beyond that.

What idea do you have to have the butterfly reworked? It’s quite faded and has been there for 14 years so not the fancy stuff you see around now..

O she’s gorgeous! Dogs steal your heart don’t they ๐Ÿ™‚

I like the Jonny gage butterflies, eventhough they are colour. Any ideas for without colour?

And any ideas of have the paws/butterflies come together with added text? I don’t want it to be too big, I am a girl after all! ๐Ÿ™‚

Good to get some new ideas, as I keep going round and round in my head. Will not go back to the tattoo guy who done this one anyway, I didn’t really like him. I’m sure he’s good at his job but he doesn’t think beyond his own ideas and was bouncing around the place distractedly (until he actually started tattooing) like we was on drugs..
