Never gotten a tattoo so I want to know more about it.
    Does it hurt like hell?
How much do they usually cost?
    Should I even get one?
Anything else I should know before I get one?

I was thinking of getting some kind of star or sun on my right shoulder-blade. Nothing huge, but not tiny either. Would that look good to you? What do you think?

First find yourself a trusted tattoo shop in your area. If you know people with tattoo ask where they went and if they liked their artist. When you go to the shop ask to see the artists portfolio and see if you like their work. The shop should be clean and your artist should take all the proper safety precautions. Make sure you are getting a tattoo that means something to you something you love. It’s going to be with you forever. Don’t get anything unless you HAVE to have it. If you have to ask if you should get one you might not be ready. Tattoos will run you about $100 an hour. My shop has an $80 minimum. Some areas hurt worse than others and some people can handle them more than others. It’s all in your pain tolerance. So talk to some people and talk to a good artist. Good luck 🙂

It does hurt but it’s not a horrible-your-gonna-die-kind of pain.

They ususally run $50-80 dollar minumum…the bigger and more detail you get the more $$$.

Heck ya you should get one. but I kinda think a star or sun is kinda girly on a guy.

I got one on my shoulder (back) and it really didn’t hurt all that bad and I am a pain puss… Mine cost $40…took him about 15 minutes. I love mine….just keep it clean and follow the instructions the artist gives you for after wards…make sure it is something you will want on your body for life…something with meaning to you…Go for it!

    Tattoos can be addictive.

Since this is going to be your first tattoo ever, you may wanna conduct thorough research to search for a design that you will probably not regret.

I have some FREE guides which you can use. But they are available for a limited time only…

Yes it hurts, but it depends where the tattoo is being done. The shoulder may not be as bad as a tricep for example. They are usually $150 per hour, so if it’s medium sized you can count on an hour and a half. Any tattoo shop will give you a quote. You should only get one if you are really sure you will love the design forever and ever.
