i have stretch marks on my sides and im wandering if a tattoo would cover them
You can but they will still be visible (although not as much as if there was no tattoo) as the mark will be a slightly different shade to the rest of the skin. This also applies to tattoos over freckles and regular scars – Tattooing over which I have been told is extremely painful!
no the tatoo would look all deformed.. i wouldnt do it
i think so yes, theres nothing wrong with it , but when they go over the stretch marks it maybe alittle sensitive
yes but the stretch marks will still be visible, i take it you have them on your hips and lower stomach too. nothing looks shittier than a tat on loose skin. and its a bastard to tattoo, the skin has to be pulled tight and the needle forced in. i’ve only! got one on my incredibly naturally muscular bicep and i screamed like a banshee and had to tell the tattooist to stop halfway through 10 minute break then he had to start again. my arm felt like jackie chan did a roundhouse on it when it was finished. once they start they cant stop.
use bio oil to lessen the look of stretch marks and dont worry about it..loads of ppl have stretch marks on their sides!
Your stomach has an extra layer of cellulite which enables us women to stretch during pregnancy… Effectively all a stretch mark is is a tear in the cellulite layer. Whilst trying to tattoo over fresh stretch marks all that will happen is the ink will drop down into the gap created by the tear in the cellulite layer and run the entire length of it.
Older stretch marks are different….. they will have filled with scar tissue and/or fat, eliminating this problem.
Tattooing over scars, as previously replied to in another statement, is a whole different kettle of fish.
if the marks arent growing ..then yeah u cud get the tatoos done
