Ami fired her for badmouthing his shop, Miami, and failing to follow through on appointments she made (they interfered with her partying – similar to the problems he is having with Chris Nunez now). Living large is one thing, but the appointments are the bread and butter of a business, and if you blow off too many people the shop loses money. Ami and Chris are partners so when they sat down and talked it out like grown men, they resolved their differences, Kat, on the other hand was a 21 year old child and acted as such and then got pentulant when called on the carpet. Ami NEEDED to fire her.

TLC gave her her own show based on the following she devoloped on Miami Ink, and she is repeating all the same habits she did in Miami, running around, partying all the time and disappearing for weeks on end leaving those who were put in her shop to hold down the fort. I sorta liked it when Pixie up and went to Mexico leaving her to wonder what was going on…….the shoe was on the other foot this time. I like Corey, Hannah and Kim on LA Ink, they need to focus more on the work they do and their talent rather than who Kat is running around with this week. Let her and Pixie do a runner as they are inclined to do, and let the show go on without them.
