I’m really excited but scard at the same time. I was wondering if anyone knew about the pain level. It’s my first tat. I have asked a few friends with the same tattoos. They said it didn’t hurt at all, just felt like someone scraching your skin, that the only thing that would probably bug me would be the way he has me hold my head. And the sound of the fun in my ear, it vibrates your head. hah. I trust them but I’m still a little anxious. Please someone give me some good advice and information. THANKS! 😀

won’t that just look like you need to wash behind your ears?

I have five tats and the one on the top of my foot hurt the worst. Behind the ear will probably be pretty intense. I would suggest for your first tat, maybe try an area not so sensitive. Good luck!

Yes it will hurt, but the pain will go away. Just make sure you keep neosporn on your tat until its healed that means no scabs on it

First of all, that’s a super cute place to get one. As far as the pain, it’s like most tats, you feel scratching at first then you pretty much go numb/get used to it. It’s more annoying than painful. The worst part will be the vibrating. It might give you a headache just because the needle will be right on your skull but it’s bearable. Plus, like with any tattoo, if you do feel pain, your endorphins will kick in within a few minutes and you’ll get a little rush. Dont be scared at all..good luck!

Pain is different for different people w/ tattoo’s hun. You will probably experience a more uncomfortable sensation then pain. With the tattoo artist holding your head a certain way and the noise of the tattoo gun, it will probably freak you out more than it will hurt. If you can get over the physchological part, then you should be fine. Chances are the tattoo will be over pretty quickly, all you have to worry about then is the healing process, which should be no problem. Good luck.
