i am sick of seeing in the tattoo section people saying – what should i get im going for a tattoo tomorrow – if you are undecided what to get then WAIT dont ask other people what to get and then get the tattoo tomorrow
also i see these questions about ‘should i get this tattoo – then they say im 15 ‘ by the way its usually some crappy little letter design which looks like a kids drawin
my question – do you think these people actually realise that a tattoo is FOR LIFE – not something you get on the spur of the moment???????
and also i believe these people consider laser removal a perfectly easy open option which can casually be done – when ITS NOT!!!!!!
what are your views ??????????

Of course I think before getting a new tattoo.
I learned when I was 18 that getting a tattoo without thinking is really stupid. I’m getting that one covered-up with something I thought for about a year about.
I agree with your annoyance though. I try to stay away from the questions that say “What tattoo should I get today?” and that sort of stuff. If you don’t know, you can wait. You have your entire life..

I LOVE THIS QUESTION! i just answered one of those stupid questions you refer to. this guy was actually asking only GIRLS which tattoo was better, and mind you, neither of the tats were ones HE had designed. he had simply pulled them off the net.

i thought long and hard about my tat. I didn’t ask for any body’s opinions on it, i didn’t even tell anyone about it until i got it.
i don’t think some people realize that if they get a tattoo somebody else has, that means nothing to them besides that it is a tattoo, they WILL almost definitely regret it. I just don’t get it and it annoys the shit out of me how some people can be so naive about a life long commitment.
1. think about something that means a lot to you to incorporate into a tattoo.
2. design your own tattoo, or if you are sh*t at drawing or just not creative enough, work with your artist to design something UNIQUE.
3. learn about tattoos before you get one. I studied up and it helped a lot.
I can’t stress those things enough. I’m sure theres more that i’m forgetting, but seriously, for all those people who are thinking about getting a tat because they are “cool” TAKE NOTE!

i think if people don’t know what to get for a tattoo, then they don’t get it
i think a treasured tattoo have to have some sort of memory or a least a long for.

i agree i would like i tattoo some day iv thought of what i want but im going to wait till im ready, with kids these days who are getting them “just cause” is pretty rediculous they should think before they act
