experiences? I know that this area is supposed to be not too pleasant to work on, so it might not be the best place to start, but I am very willing to put up with any amount of pain, it would be worth it. I guess the upside is, the tattoos I get later will not be as intense, perhaps? We will see.
How did this experience compare to getting your other tattoos? Just anything you would like to share?

I’ve personally never had my ribs done, however my entire back is covered and the sides hurt like hell. I’d reckon that the ribs are even worse with all the thin skin and bone in the area. The thing about tattoo pain is that in short doses it’s bearable. But the longer the artist works on you the more it’s going to hurt. I remember the first couple hours are a breeze, after that tho it’s pretty painful no matter what area is being worked on. But seriously it’s not THAT bad, but bad enough for you to not want to be there. If you really want to go with the ribs then go for it, its gonna hurt no matter where you put it anyways, so just grin and bear it.
