I had my first tattoo this morning, and although I am pretty pleased with it, it was quite a detailed line drawing and I have noticed a couple of bits which have been missed or could be altered to make it look better.

Is it reasonable to call them up tomorrow and ask if they can touch it up?

Do I need to wait a week or so before I go in, or can they do it right away? He mentioned that I should pop in in 10 days so he could check it out, but these aren’t areas which may not have taken well, they are just missing lines.

Being the finicky little cow that I am I loaded my tat up on photoshop and added the bits which were missing to check it was doable and that it would look right.

Would it be rude to print this out and take it to him? I don’t want to tell him how to do his job!

    your back

    your tattoo

    your choice.

if you want it changing or modifying or just touching up then take the photoshop pic with you and tell him you want it doing like that.

normally small touch ups are a given and included in the poriginal price but just check with the tattooist when you go. if there is more than 10-20 mins of extra work they may ask for a little extra cash but just go and discuss it with them.
