hey guys! i’m in good ol’ nashville, tn. wooo. i got my first tattoo about 6 months ago…i know new kid. but it took about two years of hanging around a tattoo artist to be convinced i wanted one. I haven’t looked back since haha! my first one was very chickish. profile of a butterfly but my name is worked into the wing. 🙂 it’s blacklight pink and rests happily on my shoulder blade.

it’s been less than a week since my third tattoo. :] i decided to be dumb and think it wouldn’t hurt too bad to get a tattoo on the side of my leg. heh…that was mildly amusing. it started out as an ambigram of my brother’s name: Walter/ Brother. after about two weeks i found the perfect phoenix to go around my bro’s name… the bird itself i redrew from one i saw, but my tattoo artist is just that amazing that he freehanded the tail that wraps around my leg and ends below my brother’s name. that tattoo….yeah…it felt just lovely. :[ i go back in a couple of days to add color to it, but i’m not quite sure yet whether or not i want it…i kinda like it how it is…but i’m a pasty kid and black tattoos don’t work so great on us…..

there’s more to this last one…i’ll post better pictures of it as soon as i take them…to add color or no…i’m thinking medium blue and purple with a little red around the head and beginning of the tail…
