Does anyone get any of the tatto magazines? What do you think are the best.
reson is i’m looking for more inspiration for my next tattoo – got a few ideas but need more.
I read them when I go into my artist’s shop and I’m waiting for him to work on me. Other than that, I don’t buy them at the news stand. Personally, I’d rather search the web and spend lots of time looking at pictures and art to get some ideas. At least it’s free that way!! 😀
any good web sites you would recommend?
Well some basic sites for ideas might be:
http://www.bullseyetattoos.com/
I’m into pinup designs so a lot of time I’ll just go to Google Images and search on something that appeals to me. Otherwise I look through pinups in places like this:
It all comes down to what you want for a tattoo. Spend a few hours searching the web, since the time is usually not wasted and you can often come up with an idea, or perhaps several that an artist can combine together. There is nothing better than talking with your artist and seeing what he/she has for creativity. My last tattoo was an Antonio Vargas pinup girl who was holding a cigarette, and I had my artist change it to a 9 mm pistol. Bottom line is trust your artist, that’s what you pay him/her good money for. And when you find one, stick with them. Good tattoos aren’t cheap, and cheap tattoos are rarely good!
i always use the same place for inspirtions, and there are endless sheets of flash uploaded daily, plus normal artwork as well, here is where i use
