I’m sure you are aware that the sideof the ribs is the most uncomfortable tattoo for many, me included. Depends what you mean by entire side, if you literally mean entire side then you will probably struggle after a while (and an entire side of mass coverage and detail probably wouldn’t go in a day), it is very difficult to remain relaxed on the rib side. If however you mean you are getting a large piece with not very much coverage then you will probably be fine. Not many book in for more than 5 hours on the side (even that can be tough).
Yes, tattoos don’t really hurt me so much but I did struggle there, hope it goes well for you.
pretty much hated every second of my rib piece. I heard it was bad but since i already had a half sleeve all the way up into my armpit, i figured it couldnt be much worse than anything ive already experienced. And at most it was more of just an annoyance than anything else. Yea, i was pretty wrong. It doesnt mellow out at all like they usually do. I wanted to get the otherside done going into that session but now im not so sure. haha but im def stoked i sat it through..love it… ill see if i can post a pic of it
it goes from the mid lat to just beloew the rib bone a bit under 2 hours. sorry for the crap pic
