Ok this is a huge thing for me. But, Ive decided I want to have my entire body tattooed white. Yep, the whole thing. I know its going to cost a ton of money, and be a huge time investment but I am willing to do it. I want to know for any of you tattoo artists out there, how long do you think tattooing one entire leg white would take? Thats where Im going to start, from the feet up. I want to know the time frame for the leg so I know roughly how much both my legs will cost.
I want to do this because, well, I have always wanted to, and I also feel itll help me gain an edge in my modeling and performance career. Ok its not really a career (I know I cant really make a living off of modeling), but I am determined to have this done.
I have another question for any artists out there. I am sure its a rare thing (or maybe Im just sheltered?), but eventually I will need to get my breasts tattooed (thats not the rare part). The only issue is that I have implants. How far does the needle go into the skin? I am worried about it puncturing the implant. I am pretty sure it wouldnt go that far in, but I want to be absolutely certain. Eventually I will have to have odd areas done, and I know I may have to go to other artists for it as not everyone offers those areas. Im pretty sure tattooing the face is illegal in some states as well. But, I’ll figure it out Smiley
Later on after my entire body is done, I will have other work done. I do have one tattoo of an airplane on my arm. Im assuming theyll have to tattoo around it. After that, I want some leopard print going up my whole left side..the band probably a few inches across but no wider than that.
Thats my plan. As for other work Im not sure. But the white comes first. If anyone can help, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Getting your whole body tattooed white? That is some serious inkwork. I would seriously consider alternative colouring if it is just for modelling.
You could use skin paint or foundation cosmetics and this is not permanent and can be put on and taken off as you require it.
Don’t get me wrong I love tattoos and the art of it but getting your whole body done in white just seems a little extreme. It will be hell painful as well (regardless of what ppl say about tattooing not hurting a full body would hurt without a doubt).
Ok if the pain don’t put you off the cost might. For example I am currently saving for my backpiece. It will cost me approx £2000 which is around $3000. This is just for my back and will take between 10-12 lengthy sessions. Your full body could be talking $20,000 to $30,000 (I am guessing here but based on size etc).
With regards to the implants as far as I can tell (not a tattoo a artist) you should be able to get tattoo on an implant because the ink is the epidermal layers (skin) and your implant is well below that. For a needle to go that deep would have to course serious puncture wounds.
But saying that taking into account that most implants have to be replaced every 10-15 years the skin that is tattooed may change shape depending on what size and shape implant is used. Also although tattooing over scar tissue is possible – it can often be very painful and the ink might not always take. (Refering to where they put the implant in).

Its not just for modeling though, thats just an extra advantage. I have always wanted to just be well…all white! haha. Ive thought about it for a long time..but 20-30k is a lot of money. Although, my lifestyle is very different from most people, and I dont plan on having kids..I will have to think about it some more and talk to some artists. The only problem with the money situation is the fact I owe probably 55k in student loans 🙁 So yeah probably get the monthly payments in order before saving up for any work.
The boobs yeah…well I might not even get my scars done. They are pretty white. But it would depend on how they looked with white around it you know? I wouldnt want them to be really noticeable.
There is also the transition part of it. There will be stages you know and Ill look a bit funny with white feet, then white to the knees….etc lol..I figure they can taper it off and have the end blend off into my skin you know?
I dono. The pain doesnt put me off, the awkwardness of the transition doesnt really put me off, but yeah definitely the cost. I knew it would be a lot of money, but well I’ll just think about it 😛
the white seems it may take some time to do that, io got alil white on one of my tattoos and it doesnt show up the greatest on skin in my opinion…it just kinda highlights the area and doesnt stay on like othwer colors and fades away fast. but to each their own i think its a very intriging idea to get that done if u do cant wait to see how it turns out
ive seen some people with a lot of white done on them but i dont know how new it was. if it just fades to crap i probably wouldnt have it done. im going to fish around and talk to some local artists when i get to toronto and see what they have to say. if its not worth it i wont even bother.
yea i dnt know if u wanna check out one of my albums but if u do i have a wizard attoo and in it he had like lightning coming out of his hands kinda thing, in them it was colored white but after awhile it just kinda went away and if u look u cant even tell there ever was white. thats again just my own experience. my former artist who i had a falling out with had mentions when white is used its pretty much just to highlight a certain area, and with any tattoo they do fade white fades quick as hell you can alwats get a touch up to make it look new which alot of ppl do but for an alover body tattoo might asking for unnecisary pain if u gota constantly touch it up
I’m confident you will make a mess of your body by trying to tattoo it white, are you serious wouldn’t take that long with 2 guys working you, but the consistancy would be random on a full body covering, white can be a bitch to work and can be very temprimental on certain people. Have you considered bleaching your skin?
You are not exactly tanned at the moment, how will this improve your modelling? do you do full nudity? Implants are not a problem.

As for the white, Ive pretty much decided against it. But thanks to all who gave me advice. I do want to get other things lol and 20-30k is definitely way to much to be paying for something that might not even look good. I dont know about bleaching the skin, I didnt even know that could be done. Yes I do full nudity in some cases, and Im also an exotic dancer (but I dont perform at the moment). I dont know what the modeling scene is like in Toronto, but Im guessing its way better than Maine. Perhaps I will have better luck there. It makes me sad about the white as I thought it was going to be beautiful and such but meh..lol
