The interesting thing about this thread is that people assume we are somehow in a ‘free society’ we are not and never have been.
The west USA, UK, rest of Europe are in what we call a ‘tolerant society’.
This means that yes we can slag off politicians, each other, dress up as barbie and call ourselves Bubbles in the privacy of our home.
Is the Govt aware of our antics?
Most probably yes.
Do they care?
As long as it does not affect the collective ideology of what we call ‘National Security’ they couldn’t give a rats arse.
Do the govt do bad things?
Of course they do – ALL govt’s do bad shit. That is the way of the world.
There is not one govt on this planet who can say they never got their hands dirty in something or other.
The key part is ‘nazi-like control we’re being put under?’
This would suggest thought control and murder of minorities within your home country.
Been on CCTV 200 times a day is not Nazi-like unless they use that info to put you in a camp and work you to death.
I have lived in the Middle East in countries where they hung and beat ppl because they did really bad shit like;
Stole a loaf of bread
Got raped

Golden – You are correct in that humanity has some massive flaws in that we seem as a species to need invent ‘enemies’. It is a sad state of affairs but a factual one.
