So as the title implies, I’m looking for a combination Sagittarius and Dragon tattoo because I’m a sag born in the year of the dragon. I’ve been unable to locate anything like what I’m looking for.
Basically I want the sag symbol with a dragon curling around it from the base to the tip of the arrow. (Sag symbol is shown below)
If anyone has seen something like this, or has a picture, or is super cool and wants to draw me up a sketch I will love you forever!

The first is the basic sag symbol, but I’d prefer something still simple, but a little cooler like the 2nd one.

I have seen thousands of tattoos but I have never seen one with that combination – not to say there is not one out there.
Because you have a very unique idea I would suggest getting a pro tattoist to draw up what you want from a combination of the dragon and arrow/bow and arrow that you want.
Things to consider are;
Colour of black n shade
Type of dragon – Japanese, Chinese, Fantasy, Futuristic
Will it be holding the arrow (if so mouth or talons)? Pierced by the arrow? Will the arrow symbol be made up within the scales or wings?
Do you want the archer present?

I’m looking for either a Japanese dragon sort of winding up the arrow from the base to the point like a vine. Or a fantasy style dragon set behind the arrow with it’s neck craned toward the viewer and it’s tail flowing in front of the base of the arrow.
Either color or black n shade will work, but i’m not sure if I have the money for color, I’d have to talk to the shop about that one.
No archer present.
I can draw up some super basic sketches in the morning just to show you the kind of positioning I mean. I’d appreciate if you could show me some good sites for those kinds of dragons.
to be honnest its a nice idea you have, it is something that you need to find a good artist and let them draw something up for you….. dragons take a long time to draw up and thus i dont think anyone would be prepared to draw one on here for you ( i might be wrong)

I would also recommend any work by Anne Stokes who is a great fantasy artist for inspiration on shadowing and shading.
Hope these help – I could have put more but the chinese and japanese dragons are all quite distinct in how they are drawn but the hardest part is getting the proprotions correct when entiwing around the object.

Here come the pics. This is about 2.5 hours of work. Could’ve maybe gone longer, but for some reason I was getting really tense and having a hard time focusing. It hurt a lot on the arrow near the nipple and the head of the dragon, but the rest wasnt too bad.
I really like how the head came out, he did a great job.
Next session in a month or so.
