im lookin for a black ink that actually stays black . wat do u suggest?
I would suggest looking at the thread just a few down from this one titled “Black.”
isn’t that black is the easiest color to remove by laser removal..?? i was hearing something about this.. what do you think about this?? why would it be removed easier.. since colors are same in nature..
Hi Kyle
Actually inks are not all the same in content. They are pigments and so have different bases (we call em inks for ease). 🙂
Also each company can use a slightly different receipe for what goes into them – which is why some are brighter and longer lasting than others.
Each colour can be made from a variety of ingredients including oxides, plant extracts, clay and artificial compounds made use in plastics.
Black is not always the easiest to remove as some contain metal extracts that the lasers find it very difficult to break down.
That said many of the more modern inks which are artificially created non-organic compounds are slightly easier to remove than older inks.
Green is an utter bastard to shift by laser apparently.
Take Care
