Hello everyone! I do not have a tattoo but I am looking for some advice…my boyfriend’s tattoos are beginning to fade (age ranges from 2 – 4 years old). I want to get him something to protect them. I came across a lotion called Save Your Tattoo. Has anyone heard of it? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated…

    Hello,

2 – 4 years and there already fading he must not be taking very good care of them becasue all i do is keep them moisturized after healed and use sunblock when outside. 2 of my tattoos are 5 years and they still look bright as ever. I know that probably isn’t exactly what you wanted but this forum is pretty good for help and soon enough someone will be by with better knowledge on the subject

Ps never heard of save your tattoo before so cant help you with that.

    Hi

Tattoos do fade over time but usually in 10-15 years.

The main problem is usually bright sunlight so a good amount of sunblock will stop any further damage and as marcus has said moisturise.

My advice is save your money and use standard creams and sun block.

It is possible that poor quality inks were used and this can be corrected by a reshade by a quality artist and then protect them from sunlight.

    Take Care
