Decent Tattoo Parlours in Essex

Hi can anybody recommend a decent one for Essex? I know where NOT to go but haven’t heard much about good ones.

I went all the way to Daves Tattoos in Kent as it was recommended by a friend but would prefer closer to home as the journey was nearly 2 hours there by the time I got caught in traffic lol

I had a good look over the net for studios and many of them I saw I wasn’t overly impressed with.
I found a fairly decent free-hand artist http://www.dragon-dermagraphics-tattoo.co.uk/

I will be honest though if you find a decent artist then don’t worry about the travel a few hours or a day is nothing when ink is on for life.

i know of one fantastic artist in essex, his name is OZ and his shop is in
Staple Tye, Harlow
Oz is acknowedged as one of Europe’s finest. He’s a well-known miserable bastard, but also quite a sweet chappie despite his best efforts.
He also has a sign in his waiting room of his studio that says “Of course it fucking hurts”.

he used to have a website at sinisterscrawlings.com but the site is down at the minute for some reason….:confused:

if you are near by then drop in and have a look at his work, he is an amazing artist and loves doing freehand stuff. tell him keith from outlawtattoo in kent says hi 😉

Hi guys thanks for this …..I have to be honest outlaw and say that a few people have been to the place in Staple Tye in Harlow (this is actually my home town) and have not recommended it *blush* but I do believe every person has a different experience. I mean I am sure somebody has had a bad experience at the place I went to.

I think I will probably go back to the same place I had my one done, just because I know my friends still go there and it is familiar.

i dont think there ae ANY, i am having my left sleeve done over in crayford kent at the moment by ray wewerka at crayford tattoo studio. all his work is on flickr.com and facebook so on under crayford tattoo studio. as others have said its worth the wait and the travel! i cant get an appointment with ray now untill april next year! but am i gonna wait and TRAVEL hell yeah! im just gonna stretch my ears in the meen time lol.
