I’m in search of trying to find the perfect idea for a tattoo that symbolizes my love for the 80’s hair band music era! I also want my tattoo to symbolize that I play the drums, because I have for about 5 years. I want the tattoo to be a quarter size sleeve tattoo, one that will be from to my shouler, to midway from my elbow. I’ve been thinking of ideas and I want something alone the lines of an 80’s rocker (long hair, maybe a banana, ripped zebra print jeans, hi top shoes and the whole bit) playing the drums. But I’m not sure if a drumset would fit on my arm?? I’m having trouble figuring out exactly what I would want around the drummer (if I get the drummer) to fill in the whole area of my arm that the tattoo is getting done (for example, I just don’t want one thing and that’s all, that will look too plain!) Also, I’m thinking about getting something written…an 80s song lyrics….preferably by Bon Jovi or Def Leppard…something that will say about rocking , and never letting the 80’s die, and my favorite bands are Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, and Poison. (I just dont want ‘rock and roll’, that’s too cheesy!!) I have all these ideas, and have everyhting in my head, but can’t seem to get it all out the way I’m seeing it, and don’t have a lot of good ideas to really start with. I also want this tattoo to look more feminine…because I am a girl, and don’t want this to look too guyish, though I want my drummer , or whatever, to be a guy, like from the bands! Any and all ideas of open!

    Hi Drummer

Rather than having a full drumkit why not have the singer leaning backagainst a drumstick like it s a pole?

The colour and shading style will feminise the tattoo although you could frame it in the hysteria triangle as a outer piece.

    Take care
    Matthew
