    Its been 3 weeks and 4 days sense I got my tattoo, I took great care of it and its been healed for a bit now. My question is can I go swimming in the lake and pool now, is it safe? I’ve heard something about chlorine.

    Swimming is fine.

    But make sure to put some waterproof sunblock on!
    Especially now…
    The tattoo hasn’t set in completely until around 3 months…

    Or so I’ve read.

    You’re fine for swimming after two weeks generally, though sun is bad for tattoos no matter how long you have them. I’d recommend a sunblock with a very, very high SPF, no less than 70.
