I’m new here so be gentle. Pretty new to the world of Ink, but i’m very intrigued by a half sleeve Black and Grey koi design of some kind. The only thing that puts me off, is the fact that if i find the “perfect” design will i get a decent enough artist to portray it, and do it justice on my arm? It’s no good finding a decent Koi design and having a less than adequate artist make it look like a Goldfish i had won from a fairground in a plastic bag!
If anyone know any decent artists in Essex ( preferably Harlow ) or anyone close, it would be much appreciated.

with regards to decent artists I wouldn’t limit yourself to one specific area if you can. for example I’m having my sleeve done in Camden Town, London yet I travel there from either Saffron Walden or Milton Keynes. The tattoo will vary massively dependant on the artist.
as for getting the ‘perfect’ design…I didn’t actually have any specific drawings for my sleeve yet had a lot of descriptions in writing. with that and a general idea of what I wanted and where on my arm the artist and I came up with a design im extremely proud and happy to have.
if you want a decent artist in essex then there is a great one in harlow, he goes by the name of OZ.. trust me his work is awesome..

Many thank’s for the reccommendation. I have been into Oz’s place, and in fact my brother got some script done by his female assistant. I have heard some good things about oz’s work, but have never seen any of it to date, until your link that is.
