    i’m pretty set on having this: http://i42.tinypic.com/2cr4iyq.jpg tattooed on my hip (in just black ink). does anyone have an idea of approximately how much that would cost in nyc? i’ll probably be going to st. marks to have it done. the size is about the same as the picture.. 2×3 inches i guess?

    Talking a good 2 hours to be on the safe side most artists charge around $120 or more an hour I would say as a guestimate you would see change from $300.

    Best thing is to take the picture to the artist and get a quote – very hard to estimate over the net.

    id probably go it bigger than the pic size.
    get an artist to re draw it bigger perhaps?
    just so it still looks good down the line is all.
