Totally possible but you want an artist who specialises in portrait work to do it justice.

Im guessing you live somewhere warmer and more wave frequented than england ,but a good portrait artist should work wonders there’s a studio in england called indigo that does some amzing work, so much so that its booked up for 5 months! lol, do some research check out some galleries, preferably for photos where they show u the original phot next to the tatt piece so you can compare.
