Everybody,
I’m gonna have my first tattoo for my 20th bday, i already know the base of the design but i want something special, so i come to you..
im going to have a speaker put in, an inside round speaker, the “real speaker”, im having it from the front on my wrist, nothing big, something no bigger than the bottom of a glass.
what i want is help with the details and well, if you think that a design of that object just simply doesnt go on a tattoo….
anyway, i want to have it as if its coming from my skin, nothign too “great” just a small outline that gives the effect of connection to the skin and not just a logo put there on top.
then i was thinking on the idea of adding some inner details, nothing much because the tat is so small already but something like some soundwave pattern instead of a straight line, if you know what i mean…
right now i dont have time to write down more details, please let me know your opinions and ill get back to you later today

The wrist is a small area to have a tattoo like that , you could have it but it will have to be quite basic and could end up not looking like a speaker !!
will prob just look like a blob in a few years done the line .
i would suggest having the tattoo some place else and have it done real nice with detail so it will look like a real speaker ..

i tried to find online pictures of speaker tattoos and I was surprised with the limited amount of examples i could find… any particular reason for that?
i’ll keep adding detail to my request but ive been running low on free time…

I understand i was rude for just comming in here and be a “leech” but like i said ive been running low on free time, im taking use of my sleeping time right now…
I come here for advise as i think this is the right place.
Now for both your B point and butterfly_kisses’ one, i understand you have much more experience, but i think that you got my idea wrong…. ive tried to find an “universal” measure, and well, the closest i got isnt very charming but i think it’ll work.
Check the toilet paper roll, the one that is left in the end, my idea would be for the “logo” to be that big or smaller… now, ive checked that size with my wrist and it would be a good size… i mean, im talking about the inner wrist, i dont know, im just… i look at my wrist and i can see it there… and then you tell me its too small and i got confused.
Its basically 3 circles with filling between them and an outer “shade”

I wanted a circle, something to do with music and with a personal meaning… thats where the speaker came from…
do you know how it’s called the “technique” to make a tat look like if comes from under the skin?
I dont want it to look like it ripped the skin, i want it to look like if it “fits” to the skin, like a small “bevel” effect or something.. not quite sure of the term.
also, do you think its possible to give the “membrane” an effect as if it was “vibrating”? like if it was playing
