    Hi.

I took my first tattoo when I was 16 (see the picture). I really regret it, I decided to take it on the car ride over to the artist who was from Thailand and didn’t speak norwegian or english. I didn’t really know anything and I took it privatly with many friends in a living room.

He’s a fantastic artist really, he is great to paint and I’ve heard great thing about him.
The tattoo wasn’t a big deal, didn’t hurt so much, but when I was done he covered it in paper. I was like: “Wh0t? Arent you supposted to use plastic?” His friends were like, it’s okey to use that.. So I thought I was okay.

When he was done I went out to take a cigarette while I was thinking if this really was a good idea, then when I went in I was told that I could take of the plastic and cover it with vaselin.

I was told to use something called “Helosan” which is great for tattoo aftercare for a week or so.

Then to the freaky part, I noticed that my tattoo hadn’t went into my skin completely. Or it’s like I can feel it when I touch it. And that’s like almost over the whole tattoo. And it’s like this still a year after.

My advice is never take privatly even tho how good the artist is. You guys have no idea how much I regret this. Hope when I turn 18 I can fix it at a proffesional tattoo place.

    Thanx for reading!

Judging by the size that will be easily covered up with tribal work again or something like a skull.

I’d reccommend going to get laser removal to lighten it up first incase you want to put something with nice colors over it.

    Hi Ben

What ink did he use? It could be there is a heavy concentration of oxide in the mix that has formed within the scar tissue or it could just be tough scar tissue that has formed.

Some patches of my tattoos are like that where they have gone over old scar tissue 9I am covered in them rough youth ๐Ÿ˜‰ ).

As biker has said you can cover it up but would need a laser if you want colour.

If you wanted to extend it or rework it you will likley feel much better about it.

You could rework it with fresh outline and shade then use as a centre piece and add a new tattoo around it or extend the orig. Lot of possibility there.

    Take care
    Matthew

    Hi everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeah, I’m thinking of covering it up, maybe try to make it so an eagle could fit in somewhere.

Laser sounds unnecessary, cuz I don’t think i’m gonna be using colors on it.

But thanks for very many good answers! ๐Ÿ™‚

to the last one, check out my album, you can see it there.
