I am looking to get my first tattoo. I have been living a very boring life, not being adventurous, not taking a chance and missing out on opertunities. I have come to realize that i need to experiance things and i have since made a nice lst of things i would like to accomplish. I have always loved tattoos but never had the nerve to get one. couldn’t think of something so permanent to put it on my skin forever.
Ive come to realize that id rather think back 20 years from now and think well that might not have been the best idea but im glad i atleast did it and experianced something new. rather than waking up 20 years from now and still wondering what it would be like if i had some ink.
Placement is something i have yet to decide on for my first one but i know i atleast want three elements in my tattoo.
1. Irish knot work
2. I love the animals in irish tattoos. They are incorporated in the knot work and flow so nice.
3. Ive come to believe In one simple truth, gets me through the day sometimes. “everything happens for a reason”
not sure how to fit the last one in but maybe thats for another tattoo.
Shoulder, back(then i cant see it) i work in an office so nothing that i cant cover

I can tell you that just because a tattoo is on your back does not mean that you can’t see it. Three of mine are on my back and I see them everyday…now there is the one on the back of my neck which requires a mirror in order for me to see it…but the other two I can see just fine.
You know, there is a song…I believe by “The Byrds” called “Turn, turn, turn” which is basically three and a half minutes of your thrid concept…maybe you could work the words into the knotwork.
