I am looking to get my first tattoo.. something on both of my arms, between my shoulder and my tricept muscle.. I was thinking of something shaped like a line maybe with a wing design or something of the sort.
My concern is that I will not like it and once permanent well that’s that… so then I was thinking maybe I should get a henna tattoo done first.. I would only be looking for black and red colors anyhow so I think that is attainable with henna right?
anyhow, where do you find henna tattoo artists? I’m in northern NJ if that helps.. thanks all!
Hi Squale
I would not recommend even getting henna tattoo, The only reason being is my aunt mom and little sister got them and they have a permanent outline left in there skin from it because of the chemicals that were in the ink used. Im not even really sure what it is they use. I’m not saying it happens all the time but thats my families experience
Cheers
Marcus
maybe they got BLACK henna.. I know that stuff is very bad for you
Hi
The stuff that burns an outline is black henna which isn’t actually henna at all.
Getting a temporary tattoo will give you an idea if it is right for you – but the quality and detail will not be as tight as that of a professional tattoo.
If you can find a safe henna artist try it out and see how you feel about it – sensible to see if you really want it or not.
Take Care
Matthew
