I am trying to bring together several possible ideas into a design and would love any input folks could give to at least provide a basic structure for a design to take to me artist.
Here are the elements I would like to try to bring together in some fashion:
1. I would like to do a cross on my upper arm/shoulder
2. I especially like Philippians 3:14 bible verse “All things are possible through him who gives me strength”
3. I would like to incorporate the crown of thorns
4. Like the various samples of crosses w/wings
5. If possible, but not necessary, I would like it to portray the two most important aspects of my life my faith and my family (my wife and two boys). If I should do one for family in a completely different tat that would totally make sense to me, but thought I would see if anyone had a good idea for how to tie it in.
Any ideas? Also open to incorporating other aspects into this for added artistic value.

what type of cross? i would say the best way to do it in my opinion is a detailed cross with a banner across it saying your favorite verse and below it could have names or even portraits…. all depending on your price range. if you go with the portrait idea make sure u get a artist that is good with portraits… i know that i wont even attempt them… i know im nowhere near that skill.
