    Hey There,

I started getting some work done a while ago. After the 2nd session I realised that this guy wasnt really going to be able to achieve what I was after. Luckily I stopped with him and found a great tattoist to rework what was done. Its all great except for the shape of a shoulder area of a mermaid (about 3 cm long) and her face shape which looks a bit odd. These outlines were done by the original tattoist. I am looking at 2 options, one is to see if the current guy can work with what is there or secondly getting that small section lasered off.

What are people experiences with this. What can I expect as far as visits go to remove a line?

    Thanks..

    Hi

    There are so many variables;

What type of pigment was used?

What colour was it? (black is the easiest to shift)

The size of the area? – Most lasers are moderately broad spectrum so may take off her entire head.

How much time do you have – It can take upto 12 mths depending on how your body reacts.

A few lines will prob be around 3-4 sittings but this will prob be over 6 mths approx

If you click on my sig there is a section on tattoo removal but my first advice is always a rework or coverup if possible.

    Take Care

    Hi There,

Thanks for the replies. Icreated an album and have a photo of what I am talking about. It is basically the left shoulder ( her right) up to the neck.

    Thanks.

Posting that photo was a good exercise. I printed it out (and I am no artist !) and think there may be a way to rework it, both shoulders and sides of the neck. If the line is corrected on both sides, the existing lines may be more hair. The top of her right arm ( our view left) could be brought in a bit so its not as wide, then the green sash could be worked over that section of the arm. The rays could then be extended to the new lines of the shoulder.

I will put a photo of my (really badly sketched ) idea in my album.

    What you think?

    Thanks

A good artist may be able to accomplish what you want.
