Almost 2 weeks ago I went for my second session of my cover up, ( I have the pics of my progress in my profile), and now when its almost done healing, meaning no more scabbing, i got some white spots in my black areas that were the shading and windbars was done, is this normal? I used Curel for first session and beginning of second, and started happening, I NEVER PICKED THE SCABS, now im using Vitamin A&D, any advice? Thanks I would really appreciate it.:)

as far as i know they are just little spots i have had them before and so have my partner .
i think its the cream that can bring them out , leave them alone and they will go away

I have another tattoo, A Religious Jesus Half Sleeve I had done in color on my other arm, and i used A&D and something called InkFixx, my tattoo healed beautifully, but for this new one I used Triad A&D Ointment, and then jumped to Curel Fragrance Free Moisturizing Lotion, and now I have little White spots on my tattoo where the shading is done, should I use InkFixx again or stay with the ointment? Thank You Butterfly for the great advice!

if you had the work done 2 weeks ago then i wopuld imagine that you dont need anything on it anymore, i would just let it dry out and heal naturaly as of from now

( Unless there are still scabs on it ??)

    Hi

Could possibly be a reaction to zinc oxide and soon clears after the area has healed and I would stick with moisturisers you don’t react to.

Unfortunately it is a bit of trial and error really.

I am currently testing out after ink on my backpiece and will see how the first session heals up compared to the other creams I have used.

Stating that I did 3 (light) applications of savlon over 2 days and it has sealed up nicely and no oozing just still very sore and a little raised but early days.

    Take Care

i have switched from using Bepanthen because i find it to make me feel greasy
so now i’m only using savlon and it feels loads better
