i just recently tapered my ears again. ive been doing this for almost a year now. stretching and healing for 8 weeks then stretching again.

i just went from a 00g to a 1/2″g yesterday. kingpin doesnt have 000g earlets but my taper set has a 00g pin. so i just tapered twice. when i pressed the 000g pin through i felt nothing. no stinging or anything. it was like i didnt even need it. the next earlet they have is a 5/8″g. should i just skip every other pin? lol.

    Hi

I would recommend that you test the hole first because the bigger you go the more chance you have of tearing the tissue.

The lobes are quite elastic but like everything they have limits and if you tear them it will require sewing back up.

I saw this happen on a colleague who skipped 2 gauges (no idea what possessed them to do that) anyhow they need 6 stitches to repair the tear.

That said you know your body best.
