hi people

going for my &th and 8th hour tomoro on my tattoo, have been using moisturiser starting around the fourth day after each sitting once the tattoo is starting to peal and become a lil dry. up till now i have been using Tattoo Goo products and the lotion for moisuriser, just wandering what other people use something i can get from a local tesco or supermarket which will give me the same results, as im having to order off the internet each time, this is not a problem just wanting to know if there was anything more easy to hand to get?

cheers:p

Hi

Well anything with less than 45% petroleum and scent free – but has to be used very sparingly and only after it has begun to peel. (Fingertip amounts)

Aqueas is usually a very cheap generic moisturiser that is same as many of the more expensive creams.

Alternatively body shop has a lot of oil based products – I tend to buy off the net about 5 tins of tattoo goo is £20 from ebay.

I have tried H20 ect which are ok really depends on what works best for you.

Take Care

i personally use vaseline intensive rescue, after the initial days on bepanthen. some on here say not to however after speaking with my artist during a session and mentioning it he said its not done anything negative towards my tattoo and its actually healed up nicely.
i guess sometimes its trying things out and seeing what works for you. everyone’s different at the end of the day.
