Shame on me, and i apologize if this is a stupid question (or against the forum rules…i checked out the rules and didn’t see anything about it..soo) thread but, i have a question about getting my first tattoo. I thought you guys could help me…:o

I have been thinking very much about getting a tattoo for a few years now. I’ve drawn one up and it looks really, really good and its pretty much just what i want but before i go into a tattoo shop and get the courage to get it i’d like to know just a few things first. Once again, i’m sorry if this thread is a nuisance.

1. I want the tattoo to kind of curve around my right peck, and move up towards my shoulder. But i enjoy going to the gym and working out alot, so i’m afraid if i get the tattoo now…and 2 years from now my chest is double the size, does that mean my tattoo will stretch out and look terrible?

2. Will the tattoo artist be able to sketch out my tattoo, put it on my skin (before actually inking it on me) so i can see how it looks? Does it cost money to do so?

3. If it is the case that the tattoo would stretch out because of body building, are there any places that i could get it that wouldnt stretch out? the ribs? shoulder blade? (i kind of want the tattoo not entirely visible when i am fully clothed)

4. What are some things to look for in a trustworthy, reliable tattoo shop/artist? because i’m not a huge fan of someone screwing up on a tattoo that lasts a life time, ya know? Nobody wants that hahah 😀
