I bought it with the intention of tattooing fruit and the practice skin it comes with just while I’m waiting to find a decent apprenticeship (offer me one, I live in Liverpool, England). I’m currently studying art at college and I’ll be doing a higher level art course in September and I wanted to really hit home with a collection of tattoos of my own, my friend’s, good and bad tattoos and since I’ve bought this kit, a few practices of my own.

The kit comes with:
2 pro tattoo machines, one for lining and one for shading.
50 pre made sterile tattoo needles
1 Set of adjust tools and other attachments.
8 TOP Tattoo Inks
1 piece of Tattoo Practice Skin , 1 piece of printing paper.
2 chromatic alloy Tattoo Machine Grips.
1 Top quality pro power supply system
8- different- size stainless steel tips.
100 ink cups.

So it’s all the essentials but I’m fully aware that all of what I’ve bought isn’t top notch. I will certainly not be tattooing anyone with this kit, not even myself. Even though I would really love to start learning to tattoo right now I think I’m doing the right thing and respecting the art of tattooing by waiting just a little longer (:

What’s your views on tattoo kits?
Had any good/bad experiences with them?
Also, what other none human/animal items could I tattoo?

Cheers buddies x

Sorry, but you’re probably not going to get alot of replies since unlicensed tattoo discussions are against forum rules. But I wish you the best of luck on getting an aprentiship and you’re more then welcome to discuss non technical aspects of tattoos with us in the mean time.

a couple of things i will reply on…

1. you have been a member here for long enough to know the rules
2. you have been around forum life long enough to know what people think about kits from ebay
3. if they were professional machines they wouldnt be in an ebay kit
4. if it was a professional kit then it would have an autoclave as you need one for stainless tips and grips
5, you start off saying that you are not going to use it on people at the start but at the end you obviously will be doing.
6. why would anyone offer you an apprenticeship from on the forum, you need to get your ass out there and prove to your local artists that you are worth taking on as an apprentice, but dont let them know you have bought any equipment or they will not even considder you.

and finally ….. any more mention on this kit or equipment by you and i will remove the posts
