Ok I’ve started too many threads on my sleeve, so this will be the offical one that I update as I get work done. Most of the Angel got done yesterday. He still has to finish the face, such as mouth, eyebrows, and hair. Also the sword. I’m really loving how this is turning out! Let me know what you guys think so far.
that pretty sweet. And its actually funny too, because today i got the outlining done on my full chest piece which has a similar theme. It has a demon on one side and an angel on the other, both of them about to fight each other, and a really hell-on-earth-apocalypse type of beackground, with fire in the sky and meteors and and explosions and stuff. My angel even has a sword like yours too 😀
Where did you get the inspiration for the look of the angel and demon from?
I told my artist that I wanted a tough looking angel, he came up with a roman-greek looking one that I really liked. Same goes with the demon, I wanted him to be crazy mean looking, I can’t wait to see him all filled in with color.
My parents always forced my siblings and myself to go to church EVERY sunday. I told them when I get older I probably won’t ever go much, because I believe I shouldn’t have to go somewhere just to prove my faith or belief. In a way, everytime I look at my arm it will be a reminder to me of the fighting struggle between good/evil, as goes the same in every day life.
First thing I thought of was C-O-L-O-R. Even though it’s not finished, I love the bright and vibrant blues. Usually with the pieces I usually see when it comes to that style, I see either black and white or darker imagery colors so it’s pretty cool to see a nice blue touch on the wings of your warrior translating to your evil side. Nice. Keep the updates when all finished!
Well I got the demon worked on yesterday. Damn that elbow area freaking sucks! Pictures suck, but you get the idea. The angel healed up nicely. Only stuff that are left are the skull,moon,sword, angels hair, and touching up areas. Should get it done on my next session! Then I can finish up my othe arm.
