Not sure all three of those go together but if you are set on getting that I would shop around a little bit. That sounds very inexpensive for the amount of work that it should take to get that to look correct.

I’m not entirely sure what you mean but to put it in perspective I’m working on a full sleeve that will have a similar amount of detail that is going to take 30-50 hours to complete and cost about 160 an hour. Yes, that’s a bit higher than average but I’m getting the work done by someone pretty amazing so I don’t mind paying more.

If you cut my numbers in half (because you are doing a 1/2 sleeve) and you are looking at 15-25 hours and maybe a 100/hour fee (to adjust for my higher price) and you are looking at around 2K to get the work completely finished. These are rough estimates but if he is going to ” try to do it all the first session” I think you should shop around a little and make sure you have the right artist.

my pinoy brother. i love the idea. i agree with gsou. a half sleeve is going to take longer than 3 or 4 hours. i would say 3 or 4 hours of just lines maybe. im working on a full sleeve and im 5 hours in and still just lines. definetly shop around. keep me updated on your progress. im sure it will look great.

yea i dont think the black hole would translate well into ink. but thats just my opinion. your idea is awesome though
