start of piece – took around 4 and a half hours – would imagine there’s at least around another 12 hours of shading etc ?
Artist seemed fairly quick to me ( going to be black and grey )
any comments appreciated – and I know one of the toads legs seems deformed but its just the picture, and the other one is hidden atm !

WTH? what exactly does the reflect? or what its suppose to reflect? Attacking Frogs?
Personally, I don’t like it. The lines are screwy and there is no so called shading that I can see. Even when it is colored I think it would b to “busy” & if I had THAT many veins in my legs I would be considering surgery
doesn’t reflect anything at all ! – and the “veins” you mention are very light lines to reflect areas of shading that need adding ( the woman has no veins in her legs or anywhere else ! ) and no shading at all in it yet so obviously no shading for you to see !! = not going to be coloured – just black and grey !

– anyway – each to their own – I’ll keep updating it as it comes along ! – there’s a long way to go yet – and wanted something very different to dragons and koi etc ..

Just had another couple of hours done today – was slow going though and I think my original estimate of around 16 hrs was far too optimistic. – ( maybe about double that lol ! ) The solid black seems to take forever – and was by far the most painful I’ve had yet – glad there’s not too much of it left – then it should be lighter shades and less pain.
( originally fancied a full colour back – though now judging by the time and pain, I’m glad I stuck with the original drawing of black and grey!)
– will put pic when I get one ! – like most things in life though – money’s going to dictate how long the piece takes !
